What warranty does this repair come with?
- This repair comes with a 12-month warranty on the work we carry out, or 6 months if the unit had been opened, repaired or taken apart by others before. You can check your warranty on our Warranty page.
- The warranty covers the same fault we repaired. A different fault, or a fault caused by improper use or fitting, is not covered. The warranty is void if our warranty seals have been tampered with.

| Step 3. Pack your sat nav unit safely Wrap it in bubble wrap and put it in a sturdy box with your order confirmation or order number. Please don’t put any tape directly on the unit itself or on the bubble wrap, only tape the box. |
| Step 4. Post it to us Send it to the NaviTex address shown on your order confirmation. We recommend a tracked postal service, so you can follow your parcel all the way to us. You need to arrange and pay for the postage to us yourself. The shipping you pay on our website is only to send your head unit back to you, so we won’t send you a postage label. |
| Step 5. We repair, test and return it When it arrives, we repair it and test it. If you give us your phone number, we’ll send you a WhatsApp video of it working. Then we post it back to you. |
What is the turnaround time for this Repair?

- Please note that “Turnaround Time” refers to the time your navigation system will stay with us for repair and test, it doesn’t include shipping time!
What if it’s Non Repairable?
- At NaviTex we have a very high Success Rate on repairing the No Boot problem on Volkswagen Sat Nav units or any other problems such as unit stuck in emergency update, unit stuck on VW logo, etc!
- Unless someone else attempted to repair your Sat Nav before, it should be repairable.
- If under any circumstance it is a “Non Repair” you’ll be refunded in full except the shipping cost which will cover shipping the unit back to you.

Great value for money, incredibly fast and efficient service, saved me a lot of headache and worry!
VW Golf infotainment system stopped working suddenly one day. After trying a few simple things and looking online, decided it was the head unit not booting. Checked with local VW garage, service said they would replace, not repair. Would cost in the region of £2k.
I called Andrei, he asked me to send the unit to him to check it was the same problem. Sent Monday, he received on Tuesday, repaired on Wednesday, and I received it back on Thursday!

I had a completely failed infotainment unit in my 2017 Golf (Discover Media, 5F module) permanent black screen, no audio, totally dead. VW charged me £600 just to diagnose it, then quoted a further £3,200 for a full replacement, claiming it wasn’t repairable.
I sent the unit to NaviTex and they managed to repair it fully. It’s now working perfectly, straight plug-and-play with no coding issues, which was a major concern.
The cost was less than 10% of what VW quoted, and the turnaround was quick. Communication was clear throughout and it’s obvious they really understand these systems.
Genuinely saved me a huge amount of money and hassle. I would highly recommend them to anyone dealing with similar MIB2 failures that dealerships won’t fix.

In the first instance my faulty unit was immediately diagnosed over the phone, instead of VW at £140/hr, so I was already happy before I sent the faulty kit to Navitex. Then it just got better, with my repaired unit being sent back to me within 48 hours of sending and arriving promptly back at my house. A couple of minutes later and the whole set up was up and running perfectly again. With a video showing my unit being tested and messages letting me know about shipping, I can only commend the communications from Navitex. My mib2 sat nav unit from my VW Golf was not booting up at all so I was without any of the infotainment system, radio, vehicle settings etc - very annoying and inconvenient for a car of only a few years old. After trying a hard reset myself and doing some research online (realising I wasn’t alone with this problem) I found Navitex and gave them a call. They were confident they could repair the unit so I sent it off to them and 2 days later they sent a video via whatsapp of it functioning perfectly. The unit was returned to me next day delivery and I’ve reconnected to my car and it’s in full working order. Compared to the other options available Navitex offered a cost effective solution and excellent service - I couldn’t be more pleased to have this critical part back to functioning as it should.
